Today marks the centenary of Giuseppina Martinuzzi’s (14 Feb 1844 – 25 Nov 1925) death. Martinuzzi was a prominent Istrian and Triestine social and political activist, journalist, editor, writer, and teacher. On this occasion, her collection (preserved at Labin Public Museum) has been digitized.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to oral history interviews, but after years of listening and learning, we’ve found that these five core practices make a real difference, from careful preparation to thoughtful preservation.
