Totally. I have seen us win the league, I attended almost all the games in the invincible season and i can get over things. But some like my son have attached a lot to this year I hope it doesn’t get heads screwed up if it doesn’t happen.
I would never tell anyone how to feel, or what they “should” do. But something that is supposed to be entertainment having such an effect on my son in a negative way which you have no control over concerns me.
I am 54, I have had a season ticket for decades and attended my first game at 7 years old.
My son (21) has been a season ticket holder since he was 9. The only time he spoke to me on way home today was to tell me to stop laughing (I read a funny post) as he was so upset. I am not sure it’s healthy.
Still days like today will make our eventual triumph even sweeter 🙏
