I've been so busy on the farm lately, and I needed a day off, so I took one, and went directly to another farm.

I've been really busy with farm stuff as we prepare for summer, so I've been out of the house more than usual, and my 13 year old cat has been lunging at me every time I'm near the door.

When I'm not drenched in soil, I'm working on something lovely for RBB!

One more thing about this week... I saw a lot of people I haven't seen in a really long time, like 10 years, and the fact that every single person welcomed princess with open arms...

It was really heartwarming.

Like I'm still shaking two days later. It couldn't have been better. This was their first show of the year and they told me they were a little anxious, but it didn't show in their performance, and I keep reading about how blown away people were having never heard them before. I'm having con(cert) drop, but I still can't get over the utter bliss of seeing one of my top 3 bands live... I was just totally lost in the beat. Got full goosebumps.
I can't get over the intensity of it, either.
I made a playlist and picked two songs from each album, and they played one of each!

Neither am I, far from it, but this is the most magical, spiritual experience I can think of.

I saw my favorite band live and got to hug them and let them know how much their work means to me.

I saw so many old friends and got to hug people I love and introduce them to my wife.

I have snacks and a comfy hotel bed.

I'm just happy we have the central location so close to the festival/con, and a comfy bed and big shower.

The M/M Monsterfucking Mural is a cherry on top.

We're staying at a modern hotel in downtown Oslo and the room is lovely, but the wall decor is something else.

So what were looking at from our bed is a rockabilly matador satyr, nude except for the jacket, pinning down a lion man. The satyr is clearly aroused (if you look closely).

Now we have less than 12 hours until the concert... and I need to express gratitude to my @tuathatutu.bsky.social for dealing with my energy with patience... I'm like a kid spending Christmas at Disneyland today... It cannot get better!!! 🥰🥰🥰

It's 4am and I'm in my hotel room downtown, vibrating with excitement because I get to see my favorite band for the first time in 13 years, and I get to thank them for everything and I'm going to cry.

(And because my wife is amazing, I only need to wait 5 weeks until next time!) 🌕🥰

How's everyone doing today?

I've been doing gardening, enjoying the weather, and working on my first proper work of fiction for the first time in far too long, and it feels so lovely and nostalgic.

Obsessed.

It bent backwards and completely snapped. It was not salvageable 🙁
I had to cut all the rest down too.

I don't mean to be vain here, but I completely snapped my long, beautiful thumbnail off on a crate at work today, and I'm so bummed.

I have no idea how to type on my phone now (and I'm stitching together a lovely story for RBB so I need to figure it out!)
