8/10 None of these actions will erase the scars of our ancestors from whips, the pain of seeing loved ones lynched, or the sting of water hoses and police dogs.

7/10 No one and no institution can diminish our voice or our place in American history.

6/10 In the face of book bannings, the refusal to fund public schools that teach true history, and the removal of funding from HBCUs—our greatest representation of Black power and achievement—we remain a formidable force.

5/10 Our achievements, struggles, and triumphs are woven into the very fabric of every institution we hold dear.

4/10 Black History is not just a chapter in America's story; it is the foundation upon which this nation was built.

3/10 We stand firm in our pursuit of diversity, equity, and inclusion—values that must be realized without delay.

2/10 Despite the challenges we face from those who attempt to rewrite history or perpetuate white supremacy, and even from those within our community who may not stand with us, our resistance remains unyielding.
