Really hope it ends up being misinformation/internal miscommunication. Was hoping for these to be the equivalent of the black GB/C cartridges, with both the Switch 1 game and the Upgrade Pack on the cart, and it working in either system (just without the upgrades on Switch 1)

Yeah, the game doesn't teach you these moves right away, but if you're replaying it or you read the Instruction Booklet first you can blaze through the first few stages

The Alien example is especially hilarious because *every* Sci-fi media is at least one other genre. "Sci-fi" is a genre that (generally) describes the setting, but has nothing to do with the *theme* such as action, comedy, *horror*, etc
