copy the url of a collection and add it as a card to another collection. The UI will make this easier soon!

definitely Semble this one ๐
Quiz: if you have 6 cards and 2 collections, how many leaflets do you get?
yes we plan on rolling out blocks/mutes. For now the best way to avoid a noisy feed is to follow accounts and collections and use the following feed rather than the global feed!
It's neat to log in to @margin.at and see all my @semble.so cards. This kind of integration has tended to follow an "Our Incredible Journey" post for the last 15 years or so. The mashable web is late, but it's finally coming.

Have you seen docs.cosmik.network/semble/ ? We still haven't added API use docs for connections, but it looks like some have already figured it out! ( @cameron.stream & @sensemaker.computer )

P.S. this is a "collection" in Semble, a way to organize and share links
Shout out to @onedeuxtriseigo.nullpo.dev for inspiring us with some great ideas way back last November
This is really really cool. Sense is being made @semble.so
Happy connecting ๐
Whether youโre in a research lab organizing shared references or an artist collecting inspirational materials, connections offer a new way to share and discover quality content on the web!

Connections can also be typed, allowing for more expressive discourse and curation to emerge ๐ฑ

You also get notified if someone connects to a link youโve saved. Instantly share insights with everyone else whoโs saved the same article. No more DMing links around!

They are visible throughout the app, like in the feed or on the Semble page
They help you organize your cards in less structured ways while also providing a whole new layer of discoverability for everyone else
A Semble connection is a direct relation between two links โก๏ธโฌ ๏ธ
Ever wanted to share an important *connection* between two pieces? Like a thread explainer for a complex paper, or a blog debunking some hyped up claim on social media?

you technically can by taking the url for each collection. but we will make this a whole lot easier soon!
this will let us do a few things:
- notify the author of the post/record being saved (since we'd have the DID)
- create an aggregate view for the aturi (so bsky and blacksky urls for the same link can show up together
- support saving aturis directly (rather than just URLs) + webtiles?
We do plan on pulling out the aturi associated with the URL (if available in the html). So if someone saves a link to a bsky post (from whichever client) or a standard.site post, etc, we can include the aturi as part of the url metadata.
Yes! On our (long) list of goals :)
Iโm enjoying using @semble.so to save (many) links to what I read, in a way where I can easily share them with others on Bluesky and AT Proto - you should check it out.
Itโs kinda like Pocket, but you can make themed reading collections you can let other people see. I like that.
Check out our two AtmosphereConf talks about @semble.so!

Awesome, excited to see what you do with Semble! Feedback is always welcome :)
thanks @chrisshank.com !
looks like the semble mascot ๐
these differences are probably worth a bigger write up, but these are some high level differences. Despite these differences we are interoperating where we can!
