The sun is in the gap between the big house next door and the big house opposite and is shining on the sofa and on me.

Is there? Really? Not that I’ve seen. I’m 67 and my daughter,32, and I agree that trans people are nothing to worry about. This feels very much like a distraction from the real horrors - growing poverty and inequality, a deliberately wrecked health service, for a start.
Happy Dead Duck Day everyone - if that’s a thing you celebrate.
Hey folks!
All those waiting on the print edition of CRISIS OF INFINITE BOYFRIENDS are in luck - it's available now!
Please check out this fun, emotional and laugh out loud comedy of errors of just having too many men to choose from!

I just told my husband that the heart wants what the heart wants, and that goes double for the stomach. He had chicken pie but I had breakfast!
Yesterday I had someone ask about finding good artists (who don't use AI) to design book covers. Since I make my own, I didn't have a good answer. So...
Cover artists: Post below to help authors find you.
Authors: Have a great cover artist? Shout them out!
Everyone else: repost and boost.
DM me your email, sweetheart, and I’ll send you a pdf. I’m so glad you like those two. <3
They suck! We’re mad at them! They are part of the everyone we mean when we say everyone deserves rights, dignity, respect, and safety!
No voting on who gets to be people
Sounds like a plan
Everything is on fire, but everyone I love is doing beautiful things and trying to make life worth living, and I know I don't have to believe in everything, but I believe in that. - Nikita Gill
A soft, small, hopeful thing.

freaking kids are on this app. And no, I'm not saying that in a "protect the children" pearl clutching narrative
I'm saying it in "don't get yourself in legal trouble" way
Aww enjoy. It's the only wine I regret giving up. Glorious stuff.
A weathered wooden post with a blue plaque attached to it that reads "Middle Barn. On 21st May 1864 nothing of any particular interest happened here".
I love living in the UK.
I promise you, once you free yourself from the notion that other writers are your competition and start viewing them as your fellow weirdos who share similar special interests as you, your life in publishing will become so much easier.
Beautiful blue sky with wispy white clouds
Unnaturally warm and sunny today in south Wales. Brace yourselves for blizzards.
Brits! Please sign the petition for the full decriminalisation of abortion. This should be a medical issue, not a legal one, but women are still being prosecuted under archaic laws.
There are people trying to import US abortion fascism. Shall we not.

Goes without saying that losing a home is dreadful whatever your income bracket, and even the lowest of the low may have dependents who are utterly innocent. I'll reserve my empathy for them. You're a better person than I am.
I feel so sorry for all the cooks and cleaners and gardeners and cabana boys and pool cleansers etc etc who are going to be short of work until that affluent suburb has been rebuilt. Also for most of the owners of the houses, one likes to think they can't all have been awful.
By far the majority of my sales are Amazon but there's enough from Apple Kobo etc to make me happy. I'm sure Amazon wouldn't be pushing for that exclusivity if it wasn't rather better for them than it is for us.

The number one movie at the box office on your 10th birthday is how 2025 will turn out for you.
Oh. Blinking heck!
All they know about Wales gained from reading Guardian headlines, I expect. From what I’ve read the Tylwyth Teg very happily put it about a bit.
I can cheerfully confirm that cheap supermarket pizza tastes better off a 200year old plate. (There’s only one and it’s chipped but it’s a beautiful blue)
Apart from hating the whole AI thing on principle, that’s chuffing hideous!
Your art has been a joy in a difficult year. More power to your pencils.
Just for info, I have weird eye sight but one of the joys of it is that this time of year the xmas lights are spectacular. Instead of little points of light I see great blooming chrysanthemums, stars going nova, prismatic coruscations of light! Sadly traffic lights do it too, but xmas is a blast.
