Up to Chapter 12(? Just got Seven) in Xenoblade Chronicles DE and okay I get it now
I’m now 1000% invested even if I knew most of the story ahead of time
It really is THAT good
Also for playing completely blind I’m still pretty much 100%-ing the game so far lol
Within reason, Xenoblade does a good job of showing that unbalanced gameplay can be very fun imo
Every character is pretty damn fun to play as so far and I don’t find any of them useless(Even if a couple are disgustingly OP lmao)
Hell Riki is AMAZING at inflicting status effects

I've been 100%-ing the game(About to head to Eryth Sea), without a guide, and legitimately none of the quests or the characters(And their relationships) for the affinity chart have been difficult to find
there is no politician so irreplaceable that we must overlook sexual misconduct because nobody else could possibly fill their shoes
