Sinners has spawned an interesting potential franchise: Choctaw Vampire Hunters.
Seriously that could be lit.
I mean, if you DID, you would REALLY be following my footsteps at UM. Because when else will you have time to join a theater troupe than during GRAD SCHOOL...๐
If you are going to tell me that you have joined UMGASS while at Michigan, I am going to laugh SO hard...
SAAAAAME
Accurate
...I had no idea this was a thing. Now, I fear I will see it always.

THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB, the Tunisian Oscar entry (currently on the long list), is not a happy movie, but definitely one to watch. The mashup of documentary and narrative filmmaking is haunting and important.
Content warning: this WILL make you hungry...
This really should come with a content warning. Now I am sooooo hungry. ๐

Gary Cooper kissed Barbara Stamwyck right before midnight tonight. Great way to end the year!
Remember my feelings about Shirley Temple as well
Though your view makes the movie even darker than it already is, which DOES make me happy
She was a little shit before she came to ghost town. I hate her so much.
First of all, Tootie is a little shit

It's a Christmas Movie if it has a Nativity scene.
Awww, you are the sweetest. Remind me to not fail you someday. ๐
I love this movie SO much
I really need to watch this again, for these reasons and more
I mean, doesn't he?
Now, this WAS the least liked film of the semester, no lie. (Which I scoffed at them for. Still. Also, the rest of the list was banger after banger, so I may give them some slack...)
I have a 2.5 hour block myself, so I can get away with more than you. That said, this past semester for editing assignments, we watched IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE and Pawlowski's COLD WAR, and both are way under 2 hours. (Though I think THE LIMEY, mentioned above, is an inspired choice.)
OMG YUCA
