Thanks! It is a 1927 home we bought in 2018, so have tried to keep the main landscaping items the previous owner(s) fit well with the house.

Took advantage of cooler temps in Atlanta today to plant annuals in the yard. Beautiful breezy day to work in the yard!

One of the highlights of the Dogwood Festival for me was meeting a young woman and her mother at the Park Drive entrance. She was spending her weekend raising money for PAWS Atlanta as part of her Bat Mitzvah. It’s incredibly encouraging to see youth choosing to give back so meaningfully.

Callie was exhausted tonight! Almost 20 years and she is spoiled!❤️

They call Atlanta police officer who is onsite. She just wandered off like nothing happened and started shopping. ATL police he’d her car license and damage and description and went to look for her. Arrived home after our drive home from visiting Shawn’s family in Arkansas to Callie (19 1/2 years young) with a swollen right cheek. Likely tooth infection. (Pic is from tonight) so swelling is down. Thanks to our new friends at VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) for taking care of our precious baby!

Reflecting on my evening running an errand to pick up meds for my husband and a few items from the grocery store-without going into details, please remember that his month has been very hard for SNAP recipients and even those working class folks and, if you can, Extend a hand/cover items they can’t.

The Netflix ‘Beast in Me’ is amazing! We have finished 7 episodes in 2 days and are nail biting on the finale (husbands sick so paused until tomorrow) - I may have to cheat tonight and watch final episode and act surprised tomorrow! 🤣

With SNAP and WIC on the cusp of being cut off due to the government shutdown, now is as good a time as any to look up a prominent food bank in your city and set up a one-time or recurring donation if you’re able. Over 40MM of our neighbors may be cut off from food assistance within weeks.

With this recent jump in health care costs and recent reduction across public and private gene therapy research = no, not worth it! The alternative immediately is not clear on a path forward!
