The Ontos Games Exos are a great shout. Alternatively Hybrid Minis have the Olleys Armies Exo Armour Dwarves: www.hybridminiatures.com/shop/10-EXO-... (sold out though). Also Maglett, Wereweevil Minis, Checkpoint Minis and RPE minis all have eggbot style armoured Dwarves.

I have a green Jakar mat that must be 30 years old by now and survived me cutting chunks out of it as a child, so not a bad option. I also have a big grey Elan one that's quite nice and a blue Ansio mat, but it's a bit too glossy for my liking. Otherwise both robust and well made seamingling.

The majority of parts are from the Fabricators Lair: www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-pr... but I had to create some parts myself, like the railings and stairs, as the originals were too big for little old Squats. The windows and some joining pieces also needed making as they didn't exist in the set.

I've been working on a photography environment to help better show off the myriad Space Dwarves I have. I think I've finally finished the printing. Now onto painting and sorting out the wiring for the lighting (underfloor LEDs).

The entire Chaos Squat family so far, all of them painted in matching colors: very dark grey base, orange and teal details, grey tubes and purple guns. Bases in dark grey.
From left to right: left-handed bolter guy, left handed plasma gunner, squad leader with plasma pistol and power sword, right-handed plasma gunner and two bolter guys.

And that makes six #chaos #squats40k! As usual, thanks to
@toftys.bsky.social for the base set, to @culexus.bsky.social for the inspiration, etc.
I will eventually complete the 10-man squad, but first comes the exo-armour test and a certain #oldhammer vehicle by @doctorspork.bsky.social...

Great work. I really like the idea of scaling up the Leader by 5%. It's subtle enough to not be obvious, but helps give the model more presence.

Thanks, I wasn't sure anyone would want to work with the separate parts, so it's great that they were useful to you in that form. Are you planning on uploading your assembled models? I really should add info on which manufacturers also make Chaos Space Dwarves to the LAF thread. I can think of 4or5.

Wow that's a cool looking Chaos Space Dwarf. I'm glad you found the body and arms of use. Are the adornments physically sculpted on or did you add them digitally before printing?

A Chaos Squat model, painted in very dark grey (background), orange and teal, front view.
Made up from remeshing the following free STL files:
* Body + arms from Toftylicious' modular armoured space dwarfs (Cults3D).
* Gun from Toftylicious' set (Cults3D), remixed by myself to include skulls, spikes and a bayonet-like blade.
* Head from thefella217's "Moe marine helmets" (Cults3D).
* Backpack from Moonkanin's "Evil Crusader Backpack" (Cults3D).
* Right shoulderpad from Totobronco's "Skull shoulder pads" (Cults3D), remixed by myself to include some spikes.
* Left shoulderpad from LordChammon's "Civil War mark six shoulder protections" (Cults3D).

Had to remix and tinker a bit with all the pieces (scale included) to achieve the desired result, since this evil stunty boy is meant to fit alongside my other "oldscale" Chaos Space Marine models.

Fourth space #chorf! Plasma gunner this time. All of it #3dprinting from free STLs (check ALT). Had some issues with right arm, managed to salvage it somewhat. Also went for non-glow plasma, for some reason.

Space Dwarves - Availability and Comparisons | Lead Adventure Forum Space Dwarves - Availability and Comparisons

I hope to improve my phototography going forward, with some foreground and backdrop elements added. I might even paint some of them eventually. For those interested; I have a much more detailed thread about all the currently available Space Dwarf minis here: leadadventureforum.com/index.php?to...

I plan to separate miniatures into 3 catagories: A - essentally the same as the old Squats (could be mixed into a squad of Squats and not look out of place), B - similar to Squats, but a little different (separate squads, but could be in the same army with Squats), C - doing their own thing.

Right, this will be my Space Dwarf showcase. I'll start with some miniatures I think are a close match to Rogue Trader Squat minis from Citadel and Iron Claw. From left to right: Hybrid, Uscarl, Citadel, Grimforge, Skull & Crown, Satyr, Harlequin, Oldschool, MSD Games, Citadel and Skull & Crown.

I would suggest these two Squat models also represent wounded troopers.

Now, I like Jordan and I also like Peachy, but which is better? There's only one way to find out....

Beautiful work. Great additions to your Space Dwarf miniature range. Looking forward to being able to pick these up from you. Will any of their sculpting be on your Youtube channel?

Great to talk to you at PeachCon Jordan and thanks for the shout out. Hope to bump into you again at some of next years events.

Just casually dropping that these sought after minis will be available again and relatively soon. Thanks for sharing, this is great news.

Nice, did you also get a 0.2mm nozzle? Probably worth it to get the best possible results. The 0.4mm nozzle with 0.08mm High Detail layer setting is itself impressive though.

Really looking forward to seeing your take on these. They're the 2nd Edition Squats we should have gotten back then.
