Too dumb to live too pissed to die
Culture has to turn away from this shit to survive. We have to make our own stuff and maybe it’ll look like dogshit but we can call it ours and love the process
you should keep drying up their user revenue source in the middle of
trying to take the company public
nope, it is delay-based only
last night we tried 6 players and it felt like the delay-based netcode was REALLY being pushed to its limit...
it was still (mostly) playable, but I'm probably gonna have to break up the stages to boost performance #gamedev #SpaceCatDX
gonna be tight on money until I get the next game out, so all my games are on discount once again!

Metal Head Wario Can Shove It Up Your Own Ass
all of the performance problems seem to be completely nullified by simply using the YYC compiler. the game runs at full speed on steam deck now. it created a couple of bugs but i'm still ironing those out - it'll be worth it for the huge performance boost.
ran an online playtest last night!
besides some performance issues on the busier stages (especially on steam deck) it felt GREAT to play with four players #gamedev #SpaceCatDX
bluesky video compression ate this one alive so the better quality version is up on patreon (for free) www.patreon.com/posts/spacec...

the fact the PS3 version added local co-op but they didn't bother to split up the camera is one of the Decisions of All Time
big publishers seem to be allergic to pixel art and anything hand-drawn. even the bonus games M2 made for konami's castlevania/gradius collections ended up really short due to crunched dev time. we're lucky we even got those.
it's not necessarily bad it just doesn't really suit castlevania. it looks so much like dead cells, right down to the logo, to the point where it doesn't have much of its own visual identity. it's pretty disappointing.
i do not care for the art style
I am not trusting Discord with my ID and netiher should you.
