Every single person-regardless of who they (or their parents) voted for-deserves to not die in a flood while they sleep. They deserve competent local officials, every emergency resource for rescue and a disaster declaration for rebuilding. Picking now for an “in your face” shows a loss of humanity.
I’ve seen a few ppl having to post compilations bc others didn’t believe it. The lack of human emotion left is bleak. Part of it is people are so wildly misinformed about what actually happened (and is still going on) here. Part of it is just the end result of treating politics like football teams.
