Loom update: it's probably a Structo, matches online pics. Circa 1970s. The reed is 15 dent, way finer than I'd like for scarf weaving. Now, I get to decide if I want to invest more cash into something I might not enjoy. It's NOT portable. Sell it? Keep it?

Okay, so I recently bought a used four shaft table loom. I know next to nothing about this loom. It needs to be cleaned, and then I'll hit the hardware store for a few parts.

This brought back some great memories. Edinburgh was really lovely when I visited two years ago.
