Found in the local free library: a book of French food and drink published the year I was born and written by the then BBC Breakfast Time chef!

Happen to be in France for Sidaction, an annual fundraiser (since 1994) for AIDS causes.

Quite remarkable to see all the presenters on so many channels (around 20 TV and radio stations) wearing red ribbons.

It is burnt on screen too to direct people to donate.
