If you were teaching programming to school age students, where would you introduce the concept of sub programs?

GCSE computer science teachers, how do you structure lessons around teaching the CPU, particularly the registers and other components? Struggling to hold students’ attention!

This is going to be such a powerful tool. The audio overview functionality is really natural sounding. Turning this into ‘podcasts’ for topics may be really helpful for students wishing to self-study.

I’d like to hear experts talk about balancing books vs computers for our subject. Some schools prefer everything done on a device and for a subject where the exam can still be on paper that doesn’t make sense to me! (That may not be a whole talks worth of content though)
