@mikenikles.com cssdaily.dev/tailwind/ got the Tailwind version up and running! Limited to class editing with autocomplete for most Tailwind classes (no integration existed, so I had to manually define the list).

Iβve added everything revealed so far to my relic picker β and the pacts page goes live as soon as theyβre announced.

First commits are up for BuildBeat β a platform that keeps builder communities engaged between events. AI prompts go out on a schedule to Discord/Slack, members share what they're building.
Astro + Supabase + Discord.js + Slack Bolt + Claude API.

Taking on a community leadership role with @aicollectivehr.bsky.social. Volunteer work I'm passionate about β helping connect builders in the 757 with AI resources and each other.
(Still actively looking for my next senior frontend/fullstack role btw β if you know someone, I'm all ears.)
Some big cssdaily.dev updates!
- Added HTML/CSS side-by-side column toggle
- Restructured generation prompts to address reported height issues
- Launched cssdaily.dev/tailwind/ @mikenikles.com hope the team loves it!
- Added cssdaily.dev/about/
That's not a bad idea! I'm getting a doc together with bugs/features/other ideas
Thanks! I just saw folks talking about how cool it would be to have participated in the March MadCSS tournament and ran with that idea!
No worries lol, my head was all over the place that day
Yeah, I realized that a few comments down lol, noted for revisions!
I am aware that today's cssdaily challenge rendered outside the bounds. I'll be tweaking the prompt today to try to sort that out while also implementing some of the suggestions I've received! Thanks everyone who's tried it out so far!
Yeah, AI is generating the challenges each day, so it definitely can make these π. I unfortunately do not have an infinite wealth of css examples, nor the time to craft a new one each day.
OH YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT IN THE CODE EDITOR @kevinpowell.co yeah, I could probably do that, sorry all caps cause I'm realizing it took me way too long to realize what you meant here lol.
Great suggestion! I'll see about tweaking my generation prompt!
Shoot, I could do it on tailwind.cssdaily.dev in the same repo... I'll give it a go tomorrow.
Wouldn't be too hard to do if you forked cssdaily. Some small changes to the challenge generation prompt and an editable html section rather than css. Could probably spin it up tonight or tomorrow.
I'm so excited to see the rest of the competition!
I'll still take a look later! Always appreciate suggestions & bug reports!
Thanks for the report!
Oh hmm, hadn't seen that in my testing! I'll give it a go in a bit!
You could theoretically work together or share answers, up to you how you approach things, same with wordle and most other daily challenge games!
No, I believe that was recorded before the current release. As of now everyone should be getting the same design.
Thank you for so quickly trying out cssdaily.dev @cassidoo.co !!! youtu.be/3Uct3cQ77Xo
I suppose one option would be to have several system fonts and have the GitHub action generate images for each font. I'll look into it.
Given the images are generated at the start of each day, I wanted to keep the font the same, changing fonts would require per challenge font alignment or some other method generating challenges on demand.
Watched March MadCSS and thought "what if we could do this every day?"
So I built it. In a day.
cssdaily.dev β a daily CSS challenge. Write CSS to match a target, get pixel-diffed in real-time. New challenge every morning.
Scoring adapted from @wesbos.com and @tolin.ski's open-source SynHax.
In the Web Dev Challenge season 2 finale, the dev teams raced to build charming apps intended to connect people.
Featuring @zeu.dev, @crutchcorn.dev, @tekgadgt.dev, Austin, @codingshaman.bsky.social, and Derek.

@vicmmic.bsky.social Just a quick shout out to your movie Round and Round! The Dropouts On Tour discord is watching it on Dec 20th @ 6PM EST. We would be absolutely honored to have you! www.instagram.com/p/DRujZBbDmZ...
@brytnielove.bsky.social ππ Glad to see you! I don't trust Bluesky as much as like Mastodon, but it's a step in the right direction for folks!
I should have updated this. I did find it! Thanks though!
@netlify.com lost my hat :( any idea when you'll have more in the shop?
