With #2 yes it’s a total skill issue.
With #3 I wouldn’t say those types of games should be shunned because they have their place, but my issue is when people treat those like the only games that matter.

I agree with this take. Anytime I see people long for classic Zelda, I point to Okami because it’s structured in a similar way to the older Zelda games, while still doing its own thing.
Sometimes it’s nice to play a game that can be beaten in a few hours. With longer games I have to pick and choose which ones I play. With shorter games I’m more likely to give it a chance since I’m not out much time if I end up not liking it.
