Day 7. All seems to be mainly ok. Beautiful sunshine and girlcat who had been AWOL for two days came home for food and cuddles.
Bin people didn’t come though.
Let’s see if the bad luck emerges next week. If not, I’ll put this superstition to bed.

Day 6. gosh I’m tired. Work was a tough one but nothing I can pin down as actual bad luck. I did have a really really nice blueberry scone though.
A bunch of flowers with pale roses, purple chrysanthemums, babies breath and greenery . Subtle contrasts and shades .. very nice.
Day 5 working from home. Work was a bit annoying but I had enough energy at the end of the day to do some bits in the garden.
My OH spoke at a conference and was given a bouquet so we have fresh flowers in the house. I do suspect I have a lot of bad luck lurking below the surface but today was ok.
The view from my bedroom balcony this morning. After two solid days of rain there is a faint mist in the air and the first flush of green on the distant trees. My garden is coming to life.
Day 4 back to work. Trains were pretty much on time, wifi was even working. Lots of biscuits and chocolates in the office for everyone and spring has arrived. I am not the unluckiest person on the planet, that’s for sure!
That’s probably his surname. But keep it formal, I get that.
My washing machine is called Bernard. It’s an excellent name !
Day three got some more painting done, and some ironing but didn’t achieve any new writing. Unlucky for me, maybe. Lucky for the world.
Also, 6 year old boy knocked at my door, said something rude and scootered away.
Can’t help feeling he was unlucky to be dared to do it. I was just baffled.
I know that feeling !
Oh blimey ! Did it go off alright ?
Day two managed to paint my bathroom doorframe and made a curry without mishap. No new bad luck detected.
Soz, guys!
Airline once bumped me from my chosen window seat to the aisle on the same row. What was in my seat instead of me? A fecking cello. I am officially less important than a piece of wood.
Aww! Brave wee doggie x
My mum adored him!
Day one there was a tissue in the load of washing I did today and no decent kiwi fruits in the supermarket.
So, survivable so far!
Ooh this sounds good !
It’s what I call ‘Dreadful Expedience’ .. whereby doing the wrong thing is forced through because the Powers That Be wish it so. It transcends good sense and reasoned arguments and I’ve seen it far too many times.
And that’s even when the powers that be seem to be sane, rational beings.
Just broken a mirror in my office. Let’s see if the old superstition about #7YearsBadLuck is true.
Ok so far I think!

Oscar The Grouch is a Time Lord
In real life, ladies, we don’t need some bloke to push our swing (metaphorical or otherwise).
Here is another extract from my short story. I'm quite pleased with how it's all coming together.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
You’re making me want to dig out my dvd again!

It scared me at that age too! The kiddies in the barn!!
A meme of an ink and watercolour painting of a little beige rabbit on its hind legs. It’s holding a walkie talkie in its front paws and saying ‘WTF, over’
Thought it would be fun to watch a show as one of our UK friends is in one episode..
Unfortunately it’s Celebrity Sabotage.
Oh Frank so sorry. Sending hugs!
Thank you so much Mark !
