Yes, to think I actually hoped for years that he would finish it. This is my biggest abandoned WIP trauma really.

Whenever I get writer’s block I think about this.

Wrote a scene. Thought about and rewrote it. Thought about it again and now I am rewriting it again trying to get back to how I planned it in the first place. Endings are hard.

Yes, with photography digital editing has been common practise for so long that no one bats an eye at a whole sky being replaced or a sunflare appearing out of nowhere. But it’s sad to see someone not recognizing the problematic issue in generating images meant to imitate someone else’s art.

“AI can never replace a photographer because our work is real and capture the real moment.” And drawn artwork is not real then? 🤦‍♀️ It is sad how to hear this when we photographers constantly have to defend our pricing and that our work is more than just pressing a camera button. /End rant

Rant: I do family photography as a side job and got into a discussion with another photographer about her promoting using AI to make family photos Studio Ghibli-style. I said that this is like someone using AI to generate family photos instead of hiring us photographers. The response:

I give lots of praise to the library in recent posts for having so many YA and fantasy books in English. The library in my hometown had a total of two shelves for all English literature, fantasy was a total of one shelf (also know this by heart since I worked there one summer dusting said shelves).

A sunny day, did some spring cleaning and emptied the freezer of last year’s rhubarbs and made a cobbler. Started a new book, going strictly by what my local library chooses to front in the English YA and fantasy literature shelves.

Never dared to set foot in SPN fandom, had a vague feeling that it would be crazy. Watched it regularly until season 8 or so. Mr Stories and I will attempt every few years to finish the series but he insists on watching from the beginning so like our marriage it’s a long term commitment.

I remember having a hard time thinking Jensen’s character is Dean and not Jared’s because I had watched him in Gilmore Girls. Kept watching for this Dean though, even if season 1 nearly had me die out of fright.
Sci fi and supernatural series in the 2000s really rotated actors like crazy.

Yes it was Tom but Jensen was his romantic rival in season 4, a boring character killed by a kryptonite meteor I think. 😅 Good thing because Jensen went on to do Supernatural after that.

I keep thinking that season 4 of Smallville could not have so many years ago. 🙈 Oh my age.

Again, grateful for the good selection of YA books in English in the library. I prefer reading printed books and since I rarely reread books (aside from the ones that have stuck with me for ages) borrowing from the library is perfect, plus gives me a deadline to finish it. This one is for March.
