At forRefugees we stand with people displaced, dehumanised and silenced. And we stand with those who stand with them.

Today, that means standing with Gary Lineker.

One mistake doesn’t erase a lifetime of humanity. We know Gary to be a principled ally to refugees, and an inspiration to many.

Mainstream radio presenters like Vanessa Feltz are perfectly happy to contribute, in their own small way, to the rise of the extreme far right.

Her interview with me on LBC just now was chock full of lies. Calls herself a journalist.
Really I wonder how they sleep at night.

If deporting US citizen children with cancer isn’t your redline, it’s time to reassess your priorities.

“That they should be the ones to welcome Pope Francis’s coffin in the basilica is because these people are those who represented the focus of his mission,” said Father Giulio Albanese, head of missionary cooperation and communications for the Vicariate of Rome. “They are those who live on the peripheries, geographical and existential peripheries.”

The final honor guard for Pope Francis included migrants, prisoners, transgender people, the homeless and others selected by the Vicariate of Rome as a symbol of the late pope’s mission of inclusion and outreach.

Rep Jerry Nadler says 3 children who are U.S. citizens have been deported and their families have been denied access to attorneys. One of the children has a rare form of cancer and was deported without their medicine or access to their doctor.
We must end this cruelty.

“Deporting” someone is sending them back to their country where they are free to live as citizens.

What that asshole is doing is NOT deportation.

It’s kidnapping and human trafficking. It’s illegally sending people to USA-funded off shore concentration camps.

The experiences in this story are horrific but not uncommon. Our clinicians have repeatedly warned that the squalid conditions and substandard food in asylum hotels are causing profound harm to the men, women and children placed there.

This MUST change.

There is a huge community of people wanting to add their voice and capacity to resist hostile immigration policies.

At a time when migrants are being routinely scapegoated, it’s vital we come together to build share info, build strategies and #StandUpSpeakOut

Yup. Bigotry.
I’m happy living next door to anyone from anywhere in the world. What matters to me is if they’re nice. That’s all.

Here’s a thought. Free Movement across the world - documented and safe - anyone can live and work where they want when they want and go home when they want ❤️🌍✈️

Religion is widely used by dictators and others for power and control - claiming the voice of God so people follow them. It’s not religion that’s the problem - it gives people immense strength in their toughest times - it’s the power hungry who use it for their own means.

🤩 You did it! You donated and, together with the power of match-funding, raised an incredible £50,000 🚀.

Your donations are already providing sports, healthcare access, free legal aid, english lessons, protecting women and children, replacing a broken down van, providing tents, and much much more.
