Donald Trump’s idiotic war has damaged the global economy and left British families and businesses suffering.
A total disaster backed by Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage.

✍️I have signed a letter to government with fellow MPs to acknowledge the impact of supported internships for young people with SEND.
I am proud to have employers embracing supported internships here in #StratfordOnAvon
We also call for continued funding for these important internships.
We’re calling on the government to act to Keep Britain Moving.
When Parliament returns next week, we’ll be pushing hard for our plan: a 10p cut in fuel duty, a £1 cap on bus fares, and lower rail fares.

I've written to my MP, urging him to support @mp4stratford.bsky.social's amendment to expand voting rights to all UK residents.

This law is an affront to decency, fairness and the rule of law. Discriminating against Palestinians contravenes Israel's obligations under international law. UK must call for the Israeli Government to revoke this discriminatory and inhumane legislation.

Our message to social media giants is clear: if your platform spreads harmful content or relies on addictive and algorithms, you should not be allowed anywhere near our children. We will not give up the fight.

"I think that sort of barbarity is not something that is true to British values, and so we will oppose that."
@EdDavey.LibDems.org.uk on Reform UK's plans for a Trump-style ICE force in the UK
The UK can't be dragged into another protracted Middle Eastern war by a US President.
As an MP I have spoken to countless families across #StratfordonAvon supporting children with SEND.
📝The government has launched its consultation, so I urge families and young people to respond👇

Wishing a very happy new year to Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese communities in the UK and to everyone who is celebrating the Lunar New Year.
May it be a time of joy and celebration for you and your family.
Wishing all those celebrating in my constituency and beyond, a healthy and blessed Ramadan.
Last week we gave evidence about the importance of Shakespeare in education to the Shakespeare APPG, chaired by our local MP @mp4stratford.bsky.social
Months ago, @eddavey.libdems.org.uk asked the Prime Minister a simple question: why did he keep backing Mandelson despite his Epstein links, and what leverage might the Trump administration have over him?
Instead of answering, he waved it away.
The SEND system isn’t working, not for students, their families, or their teachers.
It’s time to stop tinkering at the edges and start transforming our education system.

A new Department for Growth with a mandate to boost long-term prosperity, improve living standards and end the cost of living crisis.
This is the beginning of our plan to Get Britain Growing Again.
When those in public office aren’t properly vetted or held to a duty of candour, public trust is destroyed.
There must be no more delays to the Hillsborough Law.
The prime minister’s claim to responsible management is undone by his own incompetence. Public trust ebbs away – a worry when voters start shopping around and Reform UK is selling racism. Stagnation exposes governments that lack an economic model. That is why interventions this week by Andy Burnham, the Greater Manchester mayor, and Daisy Cooper, the Lib Dem Treasury spokesperson, matter. Both accept that cost of living pressure is becoming politically dangerous and that the status quo isn’t working. The Lib Dems want to shake up Whitehall. They are calling for a break up of the Treasury and its replacement with a new department of growth based in Birmingham. The most radical idea is that the growth department would set fiscal policies. That might be a very good idea if it opened up the space for productive cash injections with an acknowledgment that fiscal deficits are required to rebuild the social democratic space. - Extract from Guardian editoria
Guardian editorial backs Daisy Cooper's speech setting out our bold plan to break up the Treasury to boost growth 📈
Thank you, Kirk. I will be launching a new website soon, will announce hopefully in the next few weeks.
The United Kingdom is at its best when we’re true to our values: tolerance, decency, respect for individual freedom and the rule of law.
We can't let Nigel Farage throw that all away by turning Britain into Trump’s America.
Choose a brighter future with the Liberal Democrats.
Ed Davey Quote Graphic: How dare the Coward in the White House undermine the bravery and sacrifice of our British troops. Reform and Nigel Farage should be ashamed to associate themselves with him.

Agree, and I have written to the ICB about extending days and times for the Minor Injuries Unit.
