There is no point in voting in Scotland at all. Always end up with the same.

I made a blog! I'm not sure if it's that interesting to the few people that follow me on here (it's about making/engineering), but who knows, maybe? π€·ββοΈ

haha! I'm fine with general stuff, but want a new circuit put in which needs notification with authorities that only certified folks can do.
Wondering if I can get certified as an electrician faster than waiting for the various sparkies I've messaged to reply to an email.
Snowing over here near bathgate. In fact, had some lightning and thundersnow as well. Was glorious sunshine and it changed in a matter of minutes :)
(I re-read this and my take is maybe confused in text, so here it is: I believe all multi target build systems I've used are harder to deal with than managing multiple builds/toolchains directly)
I thought similarly. Then I had to use xmake.
I want cmake back. Yes.
I am now convinced that all cross target build systems take as much time to set up and maintain as just rolling the individual ones separately.
Tim is replying on twitter as though it is continuing and not cancelled, fwiw :)
Very much disappointed in the Scottish Parliament tonight. Again.
"Nvidia says the core goal is to enable developers to achieve the artistic vision desired by game creators limited by the technological limits of today's hardware"
π€¦ The big limit of "todays hardware" is that potential customers for games can't buy the affordable and efficient hardware needed today

Has the F1 start of season been worth 4 hours sleep? given the first few laps, yesssssss.
Remember when online games had server browsers where you'd discover community servers that you'd wait ages for a free slot to open up on because you'd formed friendships with those playing at the same time each week and valued those new friendships & gaming social connections?
Just me? I miss that.
It was okay on my (stupidly expensive, never againπ ) mercedes which had the headlights that block out areas of the full beam when theres any point of light in front. But both my current Hyundai and MG turn the entire full beam off, but late or not even at all. I think most are bad tbh.
I dont see any mention of the "cheap" automatic full-beam features being implemented in many cars with dangerous disable latencies. I suspect many people are running this feature without even realising and blinding folks constantly.

Cant wait for the first race. Got a feeling it will be utter chaos and I'm all for it.
Classic.
Seems like the 2026 upscalers review bingo card is already filled with yeeting sharpness silently to 300%, folks will think it's extra detailed! π€£
Its fun how opinions change so quickly over the years.
Congrats :)
close up of the internal scene. this set was great, apart from building the 64 dot assemblies which bruised my finger π€£
And we are done!
