We don't support that either, but that doesn't mean we will stay inside.

For a complimentary read to Kropotkin, I'd highly recommend David Graeber and David Wengrow's "The Dawn of Everything" which covers how humans lived in complex decentralized societies for ages before imperialist regimes deemed them "primitive."

Follow these tips, or consider not bringing your devices with you. Honestly, we would collectively benefit from reducing our dependence on mobile phones.

The text says:

WRITE NOW

The defendants have been moved and the addresses are now up to date on our website. Now is a crucial time to send letters.

9 defendants are awaiting sentencing, and receiving positive letters will emphasize their importance to the community, hopefully resulting in lighter sentences.

If you're new to protesting, do not be intimidated by the forms of surveillance and harassment that police and federal agents use to try to keep us afraid.

The more people take the streets, the safer it is for all of us.

Quietism and submission are the most dangerous of all.

No Kings, No Masters

On March 28, millions of people around the country will participate in the third day of No Kings rallies.

We are calling on everyone to engage with these rallies as an opportunity to build towards more concrete forms of organizing and action.

For these reasons, we encourage folks to show up to these events to share resources, practice solidarity, and channel this energy into strengthening your community. Share mutual aid resources, hold a post-protest assembly, help each other find your role.

For many folks, events such as No Kings are their first step into action and resistance. It's important to show up and remind everyone that the fight continues beyond any single protest. Any excitement you find at No Kings will only matter if it gets applied to make meaningful change.

No Kings is not the answer, but we will still march to promote an antifascist voice at this event. The resistance must include more than liberals, socialists, communists, anarchists, or any other single faction. Let this be an opportunity for building solidarity. Purity tests can wait.

There are many ways to oppose fascism that include different forms of protest and civil disobedience. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages, but none of these options are mutually exclusive. The point being, why not use every method at our disposal?

4 weeks ago 20 1 1 0

Nevertheless, a revolution must use every form of resistance that is available. Our solidarity is more important than being picky about whose methods are best.

As an antifascist movement, we believe that radical methods are needed to bring radical change, and any state-sanctioned events - including No Kings protests - will never be enough to overthrow an imperialist, corrupt regime.

Well-behaved sidewalk demonstrations are not the kind of action we typically advocate for. On their own, they don't lead to any meaningful change. However, we are promoting the No Kings protest - why?

CALL FOR NO KINGS BLOC:

What is bloc?

Black Bloc is the practice of dressing in nondescript clothing that covers identifiable features. Concealing our identity provides many advantages during protest: it prevents doxxing by agitators and shields ourselves against surveillance which can be used against us in court, even when our actions are fully legal. When several people act in bloc together, it also provides a shared anonymity between protestors, which in turn protects all of us.

Solidarity with the Prairieland defendants:

A federal trial in Fort Worth, Texas has led to protestors being charged with “material support for terrorism.” The FBI presented the protestors’ use of “black bloc” as evidence of criminal intent. This is a blatant suppression of political dissent. The administration’s attempt to associate bloc with criminal activity is merely a strategy to justify arrest of innocent people exercising their freedom of expression. We must stand in solidary with the defendants, stand up for our right to dissent, and show the people that wearing protective gear is not a crime.

In response we say:

NO FASCISM. NO KINGS.
TOGETHER WE WEAR BLOC ON THE STREETS.

We stand in solidarity with the Prairieland defendants and with political prisoners everywhere!

HFT is actively encouraging "black bloc" attire for anyone who chooses to attend the No Kings protests on March 28. History has proven bloc to be an effective protest tactic that simultaneously protects our anonymity and promotes our solidarity.

It's Safer in the Front Faced with intensifying repression and state violence, there is an understandable inclination to seek safety by avoiding confrontation. But this is not always the most effective strategy.

The Prairieland verdict is a reminder not to count on the courts to stop the rise of fascism.

This case is intended to set a precedent enabling the government to suppress all forms of resistance.

It must not discourage us from fighting as hard as we can against them.

Fighting is our only hope.

The intent of these show trials is to staunch any dissent. The goal is to strike fear in activist communities so that people stop organizing. It works, but only when the population allows it to work. When the population doesn’t stand up to defend dissent. When the population stays quiet.

The Road to Prairieland The crackdown on anti-ICE activists in Texas reflects a pattern of intensifying repression all around the country.

Extremely grim news from Texas.

Absurdly, a jury has decided to convict all of the defendants on most of the charges, including "Corruptly Concealing a Document" for moving a box of zines.

The jury's verdict:

It’s ridiculous what they are trying to do in Prairieland. One of the defendants wasn't even at the demonstration but is facing charges for removing people from a signal chat. Pay attention to Prairieland because this is how they will come for all of us.

In a time where surveillance infiltrates our daily lives, messages in your icloud and phone's internal memory are used as "evidence" for criminal activity (prairieland), payment data is subpoenaed to identify your email accounts (stop cop city), everyone needs to step up on cybersecurity.

Solidarity with the Prairieland Defendants. All eyes on closing arguments and the coming jury deliberations.

The result of this railroad will be seen everywhere in short order; the state has pinned imaginary cell-theory onto these activists. They'll do it to others next if this precedence allows.

Whatever the verdict, we know this is just the beginning. With state charges, more defendants, and potential appeals on the horizon, we must continue the fight to defend our loved ones and our movements. All eyes on the Prairieland trial!
