Rob Sampson says Connecticut is a thriving place for business and the economy.
Except it's not. Connecticut ranks 47th out of 50 states for starting a small business.
We need to change this, and it starts with electing a small business owner to the State Senate.

In fact, they’re only making the gas problem worse. It’s time for us, as a state, to act.
Trump must end the war in Iran if we can solve the affordability crisis at home.

Democrat or Republican, whichever party that has the power in Washington has failed to deliver a cheaper cost of living for working people. The DC establishment has proven to be unresponsive.
Gas prices have now crossed an average of $4 nationally and in Connecticut. This is an active choice our government is making in return for another war nobody wants.
My top priority as your State Senator will be to tackle this all-important issue of affordability.

Hardworking Americans, living paycheck-to-paycheck and still barely being able to put food on the table, shouldn’t have to live this way all while the top 1% continue to accumulate more and more of this nation’s wealth.
Energy costs have surged 10.9% in the last month. The cost of gas has spiraled even more out-of-control at a 21% rise this month. This is a direct result of Trump's disasterous war in Iran.
The Consumer Price Index just released their inflation report: the numbers show what everyone already feels.
Find your location on the map and confirm that you’re in the 16th District. To find your specific polling place, look here: iwillvote.com/locate
South of Waterbury sits Prospect, the southernmost portion of the district. All of Prospect is apart of the 16th, making it an important section of our coalition necessary to win. Finally, Cheshire lies just above. About a third of the town is included in our district.
To the west lies Wolcott, which is also entirely inside the district. Just south is a portion of Waterbury that is within the district. Although a small chunk, these votes can prove absolutely crucial in a close election.
The 16th District includes much of the Naugutuk Valley. In the northeast, the district includes all of Southington, the only town in Hartford county and the town which makes up about half of the entire district’s votes. No matter where you live in Southington, you are a constituent of the 16th.
Do you live within this map? If so, you’re in Connecticut’s 16th State Senate District!
He did all of this while it was too difficult to afford to live in Connecticut, a problem that still exists because establishment politicians like Rob Sampson prioritize Israel more than their own constituents.
And this wasn’t just some vacation, either– Senator Sampson’s trip was officially sponsored by the Israeli government. He was formally invited as a Connecticut state senator.
In 2025, Rob Sampson visited Israel while his constituents struggled at home.
A state senator representing five suburban Connecticut towns felt the urgency to visit a country more than 5,000 miles, half a globe, away.

Eversource's electric bills are out-of-control for Connecticut families.
The state must take action immediately.
I wouldn’t be who I am today without her strength, sacrifice, and determination. Through every challenge, she always put her family first.
Mom, thank you. ❤️
As a single mother, she worked multiple diner shifts across Connecticut — commuting from Torrington to Danbury to Southington — just to keep food on the table. Along the way, she met Kurt, who stepped in as a male role model and the only father figure I’ve ever known.
She immigrated from Poland in 1978 at just 11 years old. At 18, she got married and by 24 had four kids. When things became a bad situation, she made the tough decision to leave my father to give us kids a better opportunity — even with very little.
March is Women’s History Month, and I want to share the story of my mom, Sylvia, and the impact she had on my life.
He wants the voters of Connecticut’s 16th District to think he’s a courageous fighter for making these votes, when it's really just a scheme to keep you distracted from the fact that he doesn’t work to pass any actually meaningful legislation.
Rob Sampson doesn’t make these votes to make your life any better; it’s just more performative politics that accomplishes nothing.
He voted “no” on requiring ‘just cause’ when firing Connecticut teachers.
He voted “no” on placing basic limitations on defamatory images made with AI.
He was even the one lone “no” vote on absolving those accused of witchcraft in the 1600s.
Out of all 36 members of the Connecticut State Senate, in 2024 nobody made more “no” votes than Rob Sampson.

In 2024, Connecticut passed a bill paying the healthcare debt of 23,000 people. This was a step in the right direction. To cut costs in the first place, we can cap costs for commercial healthcare at a percentage of Medicare rates- just one of many solutions Connecticut can act on to lower premiums.
Today is the anniversary of the signing of the Affordable Care Act. While this was an important piece of national legislation, too many continue to struggle with America’s astronomical prices for healthcare. But states can go further.
