I started rewriting my ghost story with a few changes:
Will fully commit to 1st person present tense.
Will write only on an iPad.
Will use IA Writer as my word processor because it has no Ai built into it. What you write is what you write.

To me, third person limited past tense reads better than it sounds.
I’m very natural omnicient writer and switched over to 3rd close limited about five years ago.
Three writing groups in a row told me that omnicient is old fashioned, doesn’t sell, and people hate it—so I listened.
I might switch back to omnicient or try 1st person present tense.

One of my favorite books.
