Hello 2026, I hope the new year has started well for you all!
When I was a kid, we moved around quite a bit. My current home might actually be the one where I’ve lived the longest, and occasionally I get this strange urge to look for new flats.
Last year I had the awesome honor of designing these looks for the Mighty Nein attending Fjord and Jester’s wedding! It was such a blast getting to draw these characters that I’ve loved for years now — and getting to play with so many shades of pink!! 🌸💕
I am always shocked at the end of the year when I find out I actually drew at least one image a month

we can't let our hostility to plagiarism and ripoffs slip even a little bit. I made that mistake with sandfall and I regret it
we have to push studios, channels, whatever, to be EXPLICIT in not using AI, whether it's an acknowledgement somewhere or just a statement. it isn't the default anymore.
This message is even more important for the creatives of the world. We must not give up or give in. The world needs us more than ever now even if it feels like they "might be winning"
They cannot effectively replace us and the general consumer is on our side. Keep making wonderful things.

Furthermore, slop-generated imagery suggests slop-generated writing. That's how you're presenting yourself.
