We were talking recently about how we don’t do the dressing up for the last away game of the season anymore - sadly Vikings rampaging through the streets of Reading are a thing of the past

Of course didn’t work last time we tried it under Gould

Exactly - doesn’t look as if we will draw our way to safety

2-0 up then and yet the look on my face shows I knew it wasn’t going to last

Very sad - I remember him pulling off one of the best saves I’ve seen at Derby when he managed to change his position in mid air after a shot was deflected. Such an integral part of that great late 70s side and a good rapport with the fans

Bit more so than I was before the Hull game - still going to be tough but at least we have shown that we are up for the fight

What they are proposing is similar to the play offs in the National League - the only difference will be the semi finals will be played over two legs rather than one. It does mean a team scrape into 8th place in the league and get promoted as Kiddy did a few seasons ago

Would it mean that a team could be both relegated and qualify for the playoffs offs - asking for a Florida based businessman

As Oscar Wilde said “To lose one parent may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness“ Sadly we must have been very careless as just 11months after we lost our father, our mother left us last night. We were fortunate to have such lovely parents. I hope he has waited for her.

Thanks for that Peter - very interesting. Shame it’s all turned a bit sour with the original band. She is performing in Brum in Jan and in Nottingham in Feb if you are interested

Would agree with that - enjoyed Stranger Things but found myself so much more absorbed by Dark. The story is so intricate and the acting is superb. Being just thee seasons was good as well - kept the script very tight.

I watched it all about a month ago and found it compulsive viewing even if I wasn’t always sure what was going on. There are a few fans sites and one had a family tree which I found myself referring to in the third season. Brilliant television.

Oh no - that’s dreadful news Chris. You must be absolutely devastated. Our thoughts and condolences are with you all at this difficult time.
