this was from Psalm 134 for men's voices and organ, indeed the very setting from which the previous bar of the day was arranged for piano.

this was from Tranchell's arrangement for piano solo of his own Psalm 134 setting for men's voices. Hence the "Gloria" section at bar 48. It's a completely different piece though, even in time signature.

this was from Unwritten History, first performed at the Footlights Mayweek Revue 1953 as a chorus scene, with cast including Freddie Raphael and Leslie Bricusse. Based on an original idea by Maurice Holt, the lyrics were mostly by Tranchell, and varied between performances.
