I picked the game up during the Steam Detective Festival and don’t regret it at all. 🕵️‍♀️

This gem somehow stayed hidden from me until now.

My goal this year is to finish one game each month instead of scrolling.

Any recommendations from any genre? 🎮

The story is very (twin) peak. 👁️

Small town mystery, strange characters, great dialogue choices, and passionate voice acting. ❤️‍🔥

Even with limited locations, the town feels alive.

And the Red Man adds the perfect layer of surreal unease. 🌹

Too many “Aha!” moments 💡

I got stuck a lot. 😅

Point-and-click adventures are easy to underestimate. Just when you think you’ve solved the path forward, the game throws another twist.

But that feeling of piecing things together like a real detective? So satisfying. 🔎

The Level Selector Screen 🫶🏍️

The first time I saw it, I thought it was a loading screen. I just sat there waiting… until an achievement popped up telling me I didn’t need to be here. 😂

After that, I always stayed a few seconds watching the Katmobile roll by.

THE SOUNDTRACK?!?!

Every time I closed the game I had the melody of “Onward” stuck in my head.

If anything from Kathy Rain sticks with me forever, it’ll be the music.

It feels like a Midwestern Hotline Miami, moody, nostalgic, and slightly haunting.

Vinyl release please. 🙏
