The hardest part of this long process of transition is being kind to myself when dysphoria hits hard and the finish line feels miles away.

Reminding myself today that I’m allowed to be a work in progress and that every step forward is a success.

Yes, the representation was never there. It wasn’t until seeing people online - real trans people - that I began to understand what it meant and understand who I was.
