My anger at having to stand outside my kid’s school for two hours to ensure none of their classmates, parents, or teachers get kidnapped by my own government is only slightly tempered by the amazing outpouring of support from other parents and especially neighbors who stand against this bullshit.
The main polarization at this point in our existence is the tension between people who believe in democracy and the people who don't.
Which side of history are you going to be on?
Speak the truth, and demand that your elected officials do better. Tell them to honor their oaths of office.
Someone want to tell Mikey here that 86% of all SNAP benefits go to households that include a child, an elderly person, or a person with disabilities?
Or that almost 40% of SNAP recipients are children?
And that Whites account for 37% of SNAP recipients?
