I have been banned from the Darren Township public library for my really awesome "she dewey on my decimal" outburst
ur always welcome to ask me questions if u have any. ive been doing this since i was 8 it is kinda my main thing and im always happy to help
*16ms, which is close enough to 60fps i guess (17 would be closer?)
worth mentioning that these cheap 8x8 max7219 led arrays are Very prone to just. not working. i do not recommend these! i'm looking into other options but most don't look too great. adafruit seems to have a few but they're quite expensive. i might end up needing to design my own modules
also yes i made it do bad apple. the timing is a bit off because rather than using a 60Hz timer it's just delaying 60ms at the end of the loop. each frame being 8 bytes means this fits in a very small amount of the onboard flash
(i'm also implementing w25q flash so larger things can be stored!)
the next goal here is to make a more flexible canvas system where i can attach these 8x8 modules to specific sections (kinda like uv mapping?)
the current implementation only allows for an 8x8 grid to draw on. the end goal is to create my own vector graphics implementation with animation support
he really does just sound like an average midwestern guy
an stm32 development board connected to a red 8x8 led array which is displaying a triangle
my silly program can now draw points which means it can now draw lines which means it can now draw TRIANGLES!!!!
YES and i want to see more of it so bad!!!!!!!!
why is everyone talking about The Analog-to-Digital Converter
for someone who has been following the development of godot engine since 2018 i really have not spent enough time learning it. i need to try and figure out multiplayer again it is just very hard and confusing
⛵Exobolt & Full Flex Audio: Voyagers IS NOW AVAILABLE ON ALL PLATFORMS⛵

(if you are using any mainstream engine you should be compiling for linux if possible. i know it's a whole platform to target but i can guarantee you that in the near future it's going to become an even bigger deal with valve releasing new hardware)
we live in a time of steam games getting a notable number of bad reviews because linux support was broken in an update. lovely
i keep accidentally clicking on a profile and then tabbing out and then tabbing back in and scrolling their profile and liking things because i think it is my timeline
i actually like the downtime it makes me go outside
we've known he sucks this just adds to the pile. not surprising given one of the requirements for being a transphobe is also being an asshole
u just gotta not miss next year its the 20 year anniversary
Okay CTA. This is a good sign.
it took a while for me to start to understand it but it's so worth it
wait ur right wtf
deadlock is legitimately the best online competitive game i have ever played and it is not even remotely close
^^ my fancy gamer pc struggles to match my m4 macbook pro in blender render times and the laptop fans never even spin up. apple silicon is so ridiculously efficient. this is a really cool awesome option if you don't need to play games with invasive anticheat
also firefox is doing that thing again where i cant interact with the address bar or move tabs
idk i guess it all just boils down to. i wish the internet was better. i miss everyone. having a mental disorder that makes finishing things impossible sucks turbo ass. making things is deeply core to my existence and a lot of what made it really enjoyable got taken away by rich people
ill come out and say i had a game development phase for a bit late last year. it was supposed to be a secret. i put serious work into the project i had too. unfortunately godot multiplayer is difficult to implement. i might try again though it was fun
i tried for a while to find more community elsewhere with some other creative mediums and improve at something new in the process but i still have not as an adult grown past the fact i am a little scared of talking to artists i look up to. especially the ones that draw way better than me. its silly
