Temper +2 Glaive, Very Rare Fire and smoke pour from one end of this glaive while the other end of it drips with chilling frost. A short, wooden haft strapped with coiled cloth connects the two ends of this weapon turning two blades into one. While holding this weapon, you feel a burning warmth in your belly along with a chilling breeze on your skin. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magical weapon. This weapon gains different properties based on the results of your attack rolls made with this weapon. Heat. If the result of your attack roll plus modifiers is an even number, this weapon deals fire damage instead of slashing. Additionally, the creature becomes Heated until the end of your next turn. Heated is a condition that does nothing on its own except in relation to this weapon’s other property. Quench. If the result of your attack roll plus modifiers is an odd number, this weapon deals cold damage instead of slashing. If a creature is Heated when it is hit by cold damage from this weapon, they are quenched and become Restrained until the start of their turn. This also removes their Heated condition.

Dead Manual Wondrous Item, Uncommon The roughshod cover of this old manuscript is gnarled and twisted from years of hard use. Inside are a number of hastily scrawled notes and drawings discussing points of deep lore about various undead creatures. The binding is barely held together with a ribbon that wraps through the cover. On the front, the words “Field Manual” are carved in with a makeshift skull image carved below. This tome contains extensive knowledge about undead creatures granting you a +1 bonus to Religion or Arcana checks made to recall information about them. Twice per day, you can use an action to open this tome and rip a page from it causing two illusory undead creatures to appear in empty spaces within 10 feet of you. The placement and type of undead creatures is your choice, but the creature must be CR1 or less. These illusions persist for 1 minute or until they are hit by an attack or spell effect, wherein they dissolve to nothing. The creatures appear real, but cannot move or take actions. A foe can use an action to attempt a DC 16 Perception check, becoming aware of their illusory nature on a success. The ripped out pages magically regenerate daily at dawn.
