Health professionals want to give clear answers to expectant parents about the outlook for their baby. This isn’t always possible after prenatal diagnosis, as there is often a range of possible outcomes. ARC training can help equip staff to provide sensitive care to parents.
At the February case café, we will be discussing unexpected news in the scan room and the challenge of communicating to parents that their baby is not developing as expected.
