Democrats should make the confirmation hearing on the nominee to be U.S. Attorney General all about the Epstein files.
If you won’t commit to release the files without redactions and prosecute the Epstein class, then you’re obstructing justice, not enforcing it.

Art, music, creativity & community are all powerful forms of dissent. Each one of them was in strong supply today at the Resistance Street Fair hosted by BK Resisters.
Thank you to the artists who lent their talents and all of the Brooklyn neighbors fighting tyranny with joy & determination.

Another weekend hitting the doors with fellow @nywfp.bsky.social candidates @yuhline.bsky.social & @ryderkessler.bsky.social.
We love this city and we love fighting for working families!
Two months until the primary. Come out and volunteer: mobilize.us/landerforcongress
Congress has the power to pass gun safety reforms that are supported by broad swaths of the population. Let’s not waste a single minute. We can act right now to prevent future tragedies. And we must defeat any Republican who stands in the way of keeping our kids safe. (2/2)
Horrified by the news out of Louisiana today. Eight children killed in a senseless act of violence. My heart is with all of the victims and their families. Once again we’re forced to confront the question: how do we continue to let this happen? (1/2)
If you missed it, you could still: (a) get a drink at Sunset Stoop, a great locally-owned bar that’s always supporting the community. (b) support Mixteca or South Brooklyn Sanctuary.

Sunset Park has long been made special by working-class immigrant families, and by solidarity among diverse neighbors.
I joined together with Council Member Alexa Avilés & organizers of a “Sunset Park Rent Party” to raise money for both — in a fundraiser for South Brooklyn families impacted by ICE.

What a gorgeous Saturday! Grateful to spend some of it cleaning up the neighborhood with the recently revived — and already very strong — Columbia Street Waterfront Association.
Nothing like neighbors working together for the places we love.
Thank you for helping to restore a shared sense of humanity in a moment when authoritarian forces are trying to wipe it away. (2/2)
The emotional trauma inflicted by ICE on our immigrant neighbors is devastating — and often neglected.
So it’s really beautiful to see @envfreefund.bsky.social create this support group. (1/2)
(Still time for the governor & legislature to do it in the NYS budget. It would pair so well with the pied-a-terre tax!) (2/2)
Explosive & really outrageous revelations in here about a billionaire's private surveillance network completely run amok.
If we can't stop Dolan from spying on us at MSG, let's at least cancel his sweetheart tax break. (1/2)
This is the power of working people standing together for wages, benefits, and dignity.
Overjoyed by this major victory for the residential workers of @32bjseiu.bsky.social.
Solidarity always!
Outrageous that this administration thought it was acceptable to neglect the healthcare needs of 9/11 survivors.
Especially appalling that program staff were transferred over to ICE.
The World Trade Center Health Program must be fully staffed. Full stop.
Once again, the good neighbors of Minnesota are leading the way: Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty is the first to charge an ICE agent with criminal charges for breaking the law and recklessly endangering public safety.
This is the kind of accountability ICE’s crimes demand.
They all deserve more than a few days of uneasy quiet, followed by a return to death & destruction. Clarity from Congress that the U.S. won’t keep paying for it would surely help. (2/2)
May the ceasefire in Lebanon grow into a durable peace.Â
The Lebanese people deserve an end to the death & suffering & ethnic cleansing of Trump & Netanyahu’s illegal war.Â
The people of Northern Israel deserve an end to Hezbollah rockets. (1/2)
Thanks for leading the way, Analilia. Courage and conviction matter. Working hard to follow your lead. (2/2)
Back in February, @analiliafornj.bsky.social shook up the political world, winning the NJ-11 Special Primary Election by campaigning as a fearless champion for working families — something she’s always been. I loved knocking doors & rallying for her.
Tonight, she won a seat in Congress! (1/2)
Better yet, buy & read the book. Better still, b’ezrat Hashem, Inshallah, I hope we can follow their courageous example. (6/6)
I hope you’ll watch their appearance this week on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: (4/6)
I was grateful to meet them in Union Square at one of the weekly vigils of Israelis for Peace NYC — and then to be there on Wednesday night at Congregation Beth Elohim to celebrate the publication of their beautiful new book, The Future Is Peace. (3/6)
Instead, they turned toward each other, toward justice and accountability, and toward peace — not as naïveté, but as an act of radical courage. (2/6)

Grateful to Mayor Mamdani & DCWP Commissioner Sam Levine for aggressively enforcing it to protect workers.
(Still not sure about talking with my mouth full, even about workers’ rights) (2/2)
Before this spring, I had never heard of a "mukbang.”
But I did know about NYC’s Fair Workweek law to stop abusive scheduling by fast-food and retail corporations — because I authored it. (1/2)
I'm ready to be the loudest possible anti-war vote in the Capitol — so we can restrain this lawless president and chart a new foreign policy genuinely grounded in human rights & international law. (2/2)
Another failure by this Congress. After everything we've seen over the last few weeks, how could anyone possibly vote to let Trump's reckless, illegal, unjust war in the Middle East continue unabated? (1/2)
Feeling energized after yesterday’s rally. I hope you don’t have to strike — but if you do, we’ll be with you every step of the way until you get the fair contract you deserve.
Union power is unstoppable! (2/2)
