I'm a cis woman but I prefer to present more on the masculine end of the spectrum, and I can relate. I've had a small handful of trans women try to tell me I wasn't really a woman for not being feminine. I woulda thought they'd be more understanding than cis people, but the binary is strong. 😔
associating genitals with gender is always gender essentialist and transphobic and it's depressing to see that shit even in queer circles. not every trans woman has bottom dysphoria and I'm tired of the notion that dicks are inherently evil and gross and manly or whatever. keep that to yourself
