Tbh, the entire process hits a lot of the flags I normally look for when folks are overengineering or bloating the scope of something. Having fun rolling the dice is one thing, but creating a complete <anything> at meaningful scale is, well, much to Allen's point, a different beast.
Hard to know. With inconsistent results for identical input, trial and error is much more fuzzy. At a certain point it starts to become a "Let me roll again, but this time with my lucky dice!"
The way these tools work also makes it hard to see if it's something *in particular* it's caught on.
Yep! Back when I saw the site for the first time, it finally clicked for me that "Oh, hmm, since this is inconsistently helpful, it's fairly like gambling at some level."
If you click on the '?' in the upper right of the page, it should show the prompt and restrictions in place on the models
Yeah, probably a more 'do it yourself' thing so you can verify the math works, etc.
And Even an analog clock for web looks different from different models. This site is a good demo of AI code limitations tbh, it re-tries every minute with wildly different success each time. clocks.brianmoore.com
Since code to start up an app that does <anything> is ludicrously common, you get situations where a thing launches, someone proclaims it works, but there's no actual functionality. But if you don't actually check to see if it works and only go on first impressions, it might look successful.
Existing tiny apps is all I've ever seen actually function with any consistency. The more existing apps of that type are out there, the better they'll be (ish). Think very small: a clock or the wearher locally.
"I have not corrected the problem and it will happen again" extremely relatable tbh

Nurturing and breeding veggie dragons is quite the delicate task. Parents are fed special feed for months, watered consistently, and carefully protected from the elements for years. Once fully grown, their leaves, tails, and backs are harvested for their delicious vegetables! The food harvested from fully grown veggie dragons are packed with more nutrients than if they were grown from the earth, and even have slight healing properties!
