As I said, my husband has been a Dem for 50 years. He ran a lot of union construction projects. I have been a Dem 40 years. I taught science in high school. We have tried to educate other white people. I managed to get my elderly mom to vote for Harris. Most of the others are stupid/stubborn.

For example, firing late night hosts is a clear violation of the 1st Amendment. Republicans want to silence anyone who hurts their feelings. It’s wrong!
We use to associate with them before they got on the Trump train. The fact they continue to support such a depraved, lawless, cruel man is just something that’s completely unacceptable to us. And, what use to be civil debates about politics became hostile debates about politics. It’s not worth it.

The Trump Administration isn’t funding medical research. They don’t care if Americans die from cancer, Alzheimer’s and other diseases.
What’s happening is other countries are hiring our best and brightest scientists when the Trump Administration fires them. It gives them a huge advantage and makes the US weak.

I have been married 37 years. There were a few bumps in the road, but overall it has been a good marriage. He has always taken good care of us. He is a good father. Now, he has stage 4 lung cancer that was likely caused by asbestos exposure. I never expected to be a widow in my early sixties.
That’s why I am pissed at the military. They should have immediately taken Trump into custody. There should have been a speedy trial & conviction. He should have received a life sentence. The military didn’t honor their oaths to protect us from foreign and DOMESTIC enemies. They are worthless!

My son doesn’t have any kids at 37. He has been living with an older woman for five years. It doesn’t bother me at all that I will likely never have grandchildren.

Fox should be sued for lying about Covid. They repeated Trump’s lie that Covid was a hoax, a cold or the flu. They discouraged mask wearing. Hundreds of thousands of Fox viewers believed them. They died as a result.
