Some expensive pens, especially ones made from more exotic materials, may be less durable. I wouldn’t suggest dropping any fountain pen, but some are definitely going to have a better chance to survive the fall than others.

I’m proud to announce my Old Ironsides Limited Edition pen has been nominated for Best Artisan Pen in the 2026 Pen World Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards!

This pen, using reclaimed wood & copper from the USS Constitution, took the better part of a year from concept to completion.

Hey Kenny! Thanks man. I have trouble splitting my attention between different social media (you’d think adhd would make that easier lol). Hope you’ve been well!

Brooks Primary Manipulation 5 blanks are in-stock here! His new version of his classic PM line incorporates a silver shimmer that has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.

These won’t be ready in time for the Triangle show, but they will be on my table at the DC Supershow in August!

Spent today wet sanding, buffing, and ultrasonic cleaning this batch of CC1 fountain pens. Monday they’ll get their notches to have clips added.

I knew I was tempting fate when I cast this resin in my favorite color. Then the black accents with the clip and nib, and the black ebonite section…yep. This CC1 is going to be a keeper for me!

Thanks! I use JoWo nibs in my pens but they do have my branding on them. Except for some pens where I engrave something more part of the pen theme- like a Peace symbol on the one using wood from the Woodstock stage, or “BB62” for my Battleship NJ pens.

Chrome clip with steel nib or gold clip and nib? I feel like this is a winner either way. First look at my new CC1 fountain pen series! Resin pour is DiamondCast.

Inspired by the film, you can pick which color section and cap threads you’d like for your pen with all four colors swirled together in the cap. The cap also features a Sterling Silver lightning bolt rollstop.

5 fountain pens are shown with wooden bodies made of wood removed from Gloucester Cathedral, a film location for some Hogwarts scenes in Harry Potter. 4 of the pens are uncapped, showing solid resin sections of red, gold, green, and blue, with one in the middle capped. The cap has all 4 colors swirled and a sterling silver lightning bolt roll stop.

A concept that’s been kicking around for me for some time now. My Gloucester Cathedral Hogwarts fountain pen series. The wood, from Gloucester Cathedral in England, was the film location for several iconic scenes from throughout the Harry Potter series.
