subtle templating thing that really bothers me: why is there sometimes an "and" between "copy that spell" and "you may choose new targets", and sometimes a sentence break?

maybe i've just gotten better at the game, idk. but i do hope they make it harder again. i feel like a lot of the smaller buffs on like damage/block commons and such were unnecessary.

hm, i'm currently 11-2 in a10 runs on the latest patch

not sure i like it, feels kind of weird to play slay the spire where i'm not dying most of the time

(to be fair i've also just been doing very well at a10 in general on the newest patch; currently 7-1)

My spitball for how to tweak it is to at minimum get rid of the free setup turn; that feels most egregious right now. Maybe have it do its third form first (lagavulin debuff, first card costs more). Would also be nice for it to be a stronger debuff / also attack you a little on the debuff turn.

I feel like I can't imagine ever losing to Doormaker v3, even moreso than v1, though v3 is undeniably a lot cooler than v1. I guess like v3 feels like it could theoretically punish me a lot but also is extremely rewarding of tight play that exploits its mechanics.

Doormaker v3 (from the newest patch) feels way too easy to me. It's a cool concept, but I think it is too exploitable for how normal-sized the numbers on the boss are.

Just like, the combination of the free setup turn and being given an exhaust outlet means that you can sculpt a win really easily.

necrobinder is probably my third best character, with:

necrobinder a10 win means i've beaten everything on max ascension now!

this was a really nice tempo run where i never had anything broken but tempo'd with good damage through acts 1-2 taking damage and resting with tent, and then crossbow+kunai helped me get there in the end.
