Oh for real? Cool!

I have others books that have taught me, but these four were solid stones I could build from. I have many artists and art I admire and inspire,;but for me, I needed to be taught art. That's why it's books instead of snazzy illustrations; I probably disappointed a few with that, ha ha.

I wanted to know. How could I tell a story in a language I did not understand? I would have to learn vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation before telling a story. And it was so with art. These books I would claim to have the greatest influence for my "style." (Cont.)

The funny thing is, this stumped me. I drew and traced as a child, but it never was "my style." I copied. Even with fanart, I can copy the established style of the source. For my own art, I wanted to understand, the skill of it, the practice of it.
