This is for sure not a terrible theory but he definitely was seeing something and this was not a barf noise. He was convinced he saw something; it might have been a shadow, but he thought it was a threat.

Oh no you're absolutely right, there is one ghost but he's always very chill. This was not him.

I did not sleep well after this.

Anyway he saw a ghost probably and l searched the whole house just wearing a sweatshirt and carrying a bat like freaked out Winnie-the-Pooh.

He cannot be distracted. He sees something and will not tear his gaze away. There is nothing there.

Then, out of nowhere at 4am, he sits bolt upright, starts staring into the hallway, raises his hackles and starts *growling.* Like that awful gargoyle noise cats make when shit is going down.

Our oldest cat, who is 12 and diabetic, is dead asleep at the foot of the bed and has been for hours. I finally get to sleep.

I don't sleep well under usual circumstances, and my body was being unusually resistant to my typical combination of CBD/CBN/THC oil, vibrator, sleep mask/soft headphones and ASMR audio.

Last night I was alone in my house for the first time in quite a while. Usually I'm the one travelling and @jairuskhan.bsky.social tends the homestead but this time it was just me.
