'A simple (perfect) life' - my spring landscape is finally finished! An apple orchard in bloom, old railway, sheep with their lambs and an allotment being prepared for growing :) Zoom in to see all the other tiny details too... I think this might be my favourite aerial embroidery I've ever done!

These plushies were designed in conjunction with the Chehalem Cultural Center (www.chehalemculturalcenter.org) they have commissioned me for lifesize versions for use in outreach with local schools.

A plush of a C'waam, also known as a Lost River Sucker. It is a grey/brown-toned fish with a lighter underbelly, grey-blue fins. It is covered in white bumps that it develops during breeding season.

Another realistic plush fish- this one is called a Koptu, also known as a Shortnose sucker. It is varying shades of brown with a light underbelly, with darker fins.

I have two very special fish available in my shop right now-
C'waam and Koptu! These sucker fish are endangered species of fish native to the Klamath River basin in the United States.

I'm lucky to have a partner with a reliable job who supports us through harder times - I know very few "full time creatives" who don't have some kind of external financial support. UBI would be a godsend because it'd take the pressure off. I wouldn't work less, just have to make fewer hard choices!
