I still don't love Donald Trump, but I do love energy independence.

Energy independence, won't it be wonderful?
And all of that clean power is being generated in China?
You could have said pademelon crimes.
Gross National Product counts air pollution and cigarette advertising, and ambulances to clear our highways of carnage ... it measures everything in short, except that which makes life worthwhile.

Wasn't silicon valley once citrus?
Back in the day hippies used to say "think globally, act locally". To me US governments appear to "think locally, act globally".
Walking around in a coal-fired power station is pretty scary as well. Pipes with super heated steam written on them are a bit of a worry.
Bit like Pauline Hanson?
Do you think they may reintroduce the White Australia Policy? Fun fact: My friend's grandfather (a Sikh), came to Australia when the White Australia Policy was in operation.
You are correct. That is one reason why I will never again be going to the US.
Really? That is brilliant?
Tanya said my favourite: energy independence.

"We saw Morrison fighting hard for his religious discrimination bill while neglecting crucial work, aiming to provide a tool of backlash for marriage equality."
Right on!
@albomp.bsky.social has failed to move on bad policies introduced by Morrison. This one would appear a simple fix but nothing has happened. Thanks to the Greens and @davidpocock.bsky.social for pressing on with this issue.
Censorship?
"We also need to address a huge deficit in our fuel security. ensuring we have a minimum 90 days in-country fuel supplies ($8B, $231B)"
This is the only thing I take issue with. That $8B could be used to help sort out electrification of our transport.
I think your book is fantastic.
A good description of why Trump should not had taken any notice of Bibi: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rR1...
One also has to remember that in all stages of the production of hydrogen requires energy. This is why it should only be used for special cases, like rockets. Its use in transport is very inefficient. Much better to use that energy (electricity) instead.
I think that Penguin's translation of the title (The Outsider) is preferable.
Yes, that is definitely the way to make it. However, I was shocked to find that was not the way it was being done. Admittedly, that was a couple of years ago.
Yes, I wondered about that when I liked it. However, how does NASA create that hydrogen? I suspect it is from processing hydrocarbons, that is, oil.
@albomp.bsky.social doesn't represent the people. He represents the lobbyists. Gambling, Zionists, anyone with enough money to buy him. Pocock and other independents do represent voters. Vote independent at the next election.
