So, NZ sent a warship into the 130 km wide Taiwan Straits a few months ago without consulting China.
... but now has kittens because China has repayed the visit by dropping into the north of the 2,250 km wide Tasman Sea without consultation.

The @NewstalkZB audience is foul. Matched by its principals.
Some of the grossest, most ignorant people on earth.
ZB featured Ardern promoting a book. The commentary it engendered is disgraceful. Does ZB moderate that. Of course not. It invites it.

Nurses' union calls nationwide strike over pay dispute with Health NZ Nurses are "tired and frustrated" and there is no evidence their work is valued, union says.

"Nurses were also alarmed at plans to pause a digital staffing system used in hospitals to indicate how many full-time staff were needed on duty at any given time, the union said."

Oh, and avoid being ill on 3 December.

How Roads Fail... And Why They’re Set To Get Worse Sick of potholes? Thanks to climate change and heavy trucks, we’ll likely see more of them in future

For those who cannot / don't wish to access this article on Forbes, I've added it to my site (where it is completely free to read) www.lauriewinkless.com/journal/how-... #nzpol

How Roads Fail... And Why They’re Set To Get Worse Road transport produces tonnes of emissions, making it a driver of climate change. It is also one of the sectors most susceptible to the effects of climate change.

The heaviest vehicle allowed on (some of) Aotearoa New Zealand's roads is the 50MAX truck. A single 50MAX truck applies as much stress to a road as ~1,582 cars (or quite literally billions of bicycles) www.forbes.com/sites/laurie...

War on future potholes as public transport funding cut, tax and fees to rise for drivers Big roads will be back on track, while funding for cycling, walking and rail has been cut.

Want to know the best way to prevent potholes? Reduce the number of enormous, heavy trucks using those roads, by shifting as much freight as possible to rail. Is that what Brown and his cronies are proposing? F*CK no. #nzpol

I once went to a mandatory MSD seminar about 'making your disability work for you' and it was honestly Kafkaesque. The MSD worker had a glass eye and pointed out that he still had a job.
There was a deaf woman who had no idea what he was saying as there was no NZSL interpreter.
