A cat sitting in what appears to be a beverage cooler receives forehead scratches from a person out of view of the camera, accompanied by the Moby-Dick quote “the whale's vast plaited forehead forms innumerable strange devices for the emblematical adornment of his wondrous tun”

A cat lies on a counter with its front paws folded under its chest and glares menacingly at the viewer, accompanied by the Moby-Dick quote “In the repose of the pasture, the curled brow of the bull has a touch of the grand in it”
A cat wearing a ridiculous-looking Christmas sweater and adorned with a tinsel garland crouches on a bodega floor, accompanied by the Moby-Dick quote “The Killer is never hunted.”
A cat lies amidst a mess of bags of cookies that it presumably knocked over. The cat has its eyes closed and a dopey-looking expression on its face and is accompanied by the Moby-Dick quote “this one small brain think thoughts”
A cat sits on a checkout counter side-eyeing the viewer. The cat is sitting above a sign that says “beware of dog” in Spanish and the sign appears to have a depiction of a cat on it. The scene is accompanied by the Moby-Dick quote “the profound calm which only apparently precedes and prophesies of the storm, is perhaps more awful than the storm itself” Do not even THINK about shoplifting here.
The Amish guy!
Well, yeah, but it's Archie!
It's just not as relevant. It's like arguing whether you prefer NBC or CBS.
I don't know if that's rhetorical, but my answer is, "Not really!"
Weekend mood from Pep #141.
I saw a YouTube video on this that made it sound so great. How is it so far?
So everyone at that Ohio diner is routinely 47 minutes late for their 7 am shift?
Man, this brings back memories of hanging out and playing cards on my best friend's deck on warm summer Saturday nights back in the 1990s.
I love "let's take a sky ride."
I don't think it would cost that much!
A comic I never knew existed: a Peter Bagge variant cover for Archie #1, September 2015. #archiecomics #peterbagge
Old Archie comics hit hard.
A very rare occurrence!
All of the men in Archie's women's lib stories of the 70s are terrible. 😂
I'm pleased to have finally picked up one of Dan DeCarlo's most infamous late career covers... Betty #8 from September 1993. I thought I'd be making due with the facsimile, but I found this one at a reasonable price and it's even a newsstand. #archiecomics #dandecarlo #bettycooper #teambetty
This is the first nice weekend in PA since last year, so that means flea market season has begun! I managed to find a few things, including this variant cover of Life with Archie #21 from September 2012. I love that Archie made a sketch variant like this! #archiecomics #cherylblossom #dandecarlo
Alexander Cabot and his inflatable girlfriend. (From Josie and the Pussycats #47, April 1970) #archiecomics #josieandthepussycats #dandecarlo
I've shared this before and I'll share it again--by the great Russ Heath...with colors and lettering by the equally great Darwyn Cooke....also--SCREW Lichtenstein!!
Another early 60s Betty and Veronica off my want list... Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica #58 from October 1960. This one is unusual because the cover is almost like the first panel of the first story. #archiecomics #bettyandveronica
Serial killers who use murder as part of their art was a plotline done 25 years ago on Law and Order: Criminal Internet. And they did it better.
Archie is like a Lannister. (From Betty and Me #47, February 1973) #archiecomics #bettyandveronica #smerp
Betty, you can do better.
Who but Archie would run into gymnasts on a trampoline at the park. My favorite part, as a kid who grew up in the 70s, is the reckless disregard for safety as they set up the trampoline right in the middle of the pavement.
