This shit-arse thing, this absolute pain in the hole, it's getting there.

L: A young W B Yeats wearing pince nez and a large bow tie. R: A middle-aged Aleister Crowley wearing a large (possibly homburg) black hat and the βIβm mad, meβ expression that he always put on for photos
Ah! 19 April β 126th anniversary of the day William Butler Yeats kicked Aleister Crowley downstairs as they fought for control of the British branch of the not-at-all-ridiculous Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in the Battle of Blythe Road. According to legend, anyway... π§΅
Thankyou! It's going to be so good to see it finished, I just need to get there!
They're 3d printed, resin, 50 at a time, and each one is laid by hand. I've very genuinely lost count of how many hours I've plugged into it π
It's going to be a small board for skirmish gaming - starting with a project I'm writing myself βΊοΈ
This. Fucking. Thing.
I'm going to finish it then cast it into the fire like it's the one ring, the hateful creation of madness that it is!
So, so nearly there! I will complete it, I must! π

Three women in blue power armour with black/grey robes. The lead figure is bare-headed and carries a large hammer. The two figures behind her have masks made to resemble a kraken. One carries an ornate banner decorated with a kraken and several skulls, the other bears a hammer and a shield.
A group of figures in blue power armour and black robes. They all wear kraken masks and carry shields and hammers.
A single figure as described previously. Here follows fluff: On Manawyddan, it was common for the Cailleachs - sea witches - to surround themselves with a guard of noble warriors, all bearing a spark of witchcraft. These warriors could not themselves work the tides of the unseen, but their tie was undeniable, manifesting in unusual luck, flashes of foresight and other such minor miracles. Their duty was simple - it was not unheard of for a witch to go soaring with gulls or commune with the deep and come back beset with madness, or followed by some terrible spirit of the waves. In these times, her guard would act to protect both the Cailleach and their tribe while the witch fought to control herself and battle the great and terrible forces of the spirit world. In the worst times, they would act to mercifully end their mistress should she lose herself entirely. When the tribes of Manawyddan became the gene-stock for the Krakenborn, both the Cailleachs and their guards came with them. With the training and discipline of the legion, the Cailleach Guard no longer needed to watch their mistresses for possession, but formed a bodyguard to protect her from mundane foes upon the battlefield. To show their rank, they donned robes of kelp-cloth over their warplate and helms fronted with a silver mask of intricate make. Veterans all of a hundred battles, they took for their arms the krakenhammer, a dreadful piercing weapon crafted from the ever-sharp fang of a leviathan of their homeworld. Paired with a shield, they could keep their foes at bay and deliver punishing blows to crack ceramite with ease and pulverise the bone beneath. Though originally their foes were purely flesh and blood, during the heresy they found their spark of connection to the warp made them exceptionally skilled at battling the neverborn. Guided by their cailleachs, they sought out the possessed and the incarnate to destroy their physical forms and banish their immaterial evil back from where it came.

They saw the table last week and took down a squad of Gal Vorbak, so I'm very happy with them so far! π

They're my own homebrew second legion. I currently use Shattered Legions for them, using a mix of Salamanders, Night Lords, and Space Wolves - purely for their rules βΊοΈ

I absolutely adore the composition of this, it looks incredible! ππ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώπ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώπ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ
I managed to visit the exhibition last month when I was down there and it is well, well worth it!
I've had some of their resin casts as well as their printed. They've fairly chunky, but that's definitely more about their house style - they've always been very high quality in my experience.
The head honcho at Warlord has been very vocal about the place of women in wargaming and they have a history of some pretty shockingly sexist statements in their books.
The GOW ones are maybe too... GOW, but I could definitely play about with their Burning Rose range maybe! βΊοΈ The joy of it all is they're all so cross-compatible!
Those are actually a great shout! I'll take a proper look, thankyou π
Oof yes, the razor saw has a thirst only fingertips can slake! π
Three vaguely ww2-styled soldiers in some sort of powered machine armour.
Friends, I am looking for your assistance!
For an upcoming project I'm going to need power armour for baseline humans - not Astartes. The image shows something in the right vein, but it's Warlord and I don't want to give them my money.
Bonus points if it's a 3d print!
Suggestions? π

I want this new Trench Crusade online mag to be all about creativity, community and articles that are of direct use to the TC players and hobbyists.
Photo of the South of Scotland regional ballot paper for the Scottish election on 7th May 2026. Added text identifies the "INDEPENDENT GREEN VOICE" as "NOT the Green Party" and "SCOTTISH GREEN PARTY" as "The actual Green Party".
Anyone who received their postal ballot today in the South of Scotland region, please be aware that "Independent Green Voice", which appears second on the list on the peach regional ballot paper, is NOT the Scottish Green Party. This is in fact a deliberate vote spoiling attempt by right-wingers.
Today, we launched The Trench Wire, our new community channel covering all aspects of Trench Crusade, from rules and lore, to hobby content, interviews, & more! What's more, we're excited to have @lylelowery.bsky.social as editor in chief of The Trench Wire! www.trenchcrusade.com/trench-wire/
Today is a great day to commission me
The cover illustration for the Carcass Front campaign box is a truly mind-blowing piece of art by Pedro NuΓ±ez, and we couldn't resist giving you a closer look!

Genuinely slept 12 hours last night. Body just told me to stop the day and I stopped.
I'm determined to have a better day - I can't do anything about it right now, but I can look after myself.
Probably a good thing it's a week till payday, I'd probably drop irresponsible money on Warhams otherwise!
Thankyou π«βΊοΈ
Thanks Andy π«
It really did. I very much hope today is a better one βΊοΈπ«
It's "denied medical care and dumped back onto a multi-year wait list" awful.
I've had a truly, monumentally awful day. I feel like I've had the rug pulled from under me and I've been left sprawled on the floor. Fuck me dead.
I appreciate it βΊοΈ
