It’s alright to slow down and simply be. We don’t have to rush or keep proving our worth.
Who you are, and how you’re doing right now, is already enough.

Notes from the Isle of Man 🇮🇲
In Bethany Wiliams' new exhibition at Bethlem Gallery ‘This Wild, Achingly Beautiful Place’, the materials, natural dyes and imagery used in the works are based on her home region of the Isle of Man.
See the works in the exhibition which opens on Saturday 11 October
Not entirely off topic, but I was introduced to the work of author Nicola Dinan via the Queer Book Club at local bookshop in Bromley. Two novels in (her output to date) and they're excellent. LGBTQ+ author @rosiewilby.bsky.social might know more.
Are you part of a trans knitting group, a queer poetry collective or a lesbian cricket club? (Or something else!)
I want to speak with non-alcohol based, LGBTQ+ hobby groups about community, connection and the changing LGBTQ+ 'scene'

If you run a life science lab where research has either significantly slowed or shut down completely due to Trump administration policies, I’d like to hear your story. I'm a biotech and life sciences reporter for @statnews.com, and you can reach me at jonathan.wosen@statnews.com #journorequest

The closure recently of the 160-year old South London newspaper will have removed opportunities for journalists. But perhaps there is room for innovative titles with good journalism.
I'm writing a book for parents about the benefits of video games (setting aside fears and dangers). I'm starting by debunking the things we say about kids & games that aren't true and get in the way of deeper engagement. Like "kids just don't play any more".
Any suggestions/shares?
