After nearly five months of training, I finally ran this yesterday and finished in 1:48:18. I've never been a runner so I'm very proud of the progress I've made!

Stopping US bombs to the genocide in Gaza requires champions in Congress, which is why we've made it a priority to build & deepen DSA's relationships with socialists in Congress, and elect more. AOC has been a leader on Palestine & we're thrilled about her expanded commitment.๐ŸŒน

Vote No War but Class War slate for Anti-War Working Group OC!

We are fighting for an anti-war movement led by DSA and the working class. Ending imperialism must be incorporated into every aspect of our work, and it must be @socialists.nyc leading the fight.

Calling @caraspencer.bsky.social @saintlouispres.bsky.social

Why on earth is the city touching #DataCenterSTL paperwork on a property whose owner has been sued by the Collector of Revenue for delinquent taxes?

I grew up loving tech and the internet, but as I get older and see what has come of it, I'm starting to want to become a luddite and get away from it all.

The amount of people who are pushing back against data centers in big and small towns alike is one of the most encouraging things about the current political situation.

Just turned on the NBC's Olympic Gold Zone channel and there's a triple box of doubles curling going on. If there's one thing that is possibly more exciting than curling it's a triple box of curling.

RAISE transit sent the city a letter begging them to address pedestrian walkway enforcement and to train plow drivers not to dump snow at metro stops. The city chose not to respond to RAISE, do any outreach, or update their snow removal plan to include those outside of cars. So disappointing.

Seeing so many businesses announce today that they are donating profits to organizations supporting immigrants' rights makes me think we made being woke cool again!

St. Louis has to do something about the amount of people who don't shovel their sidewalks after snow storms.

If you own the building, you're responsible for shoveling it! It's been four days and will be another week at least until it melts, it's incredibly rude and dangerous to just leave it there.

I'm stunned by how many conservatives are celebrating the murder of Alex Pretti by ICE. I don't think there's ever been such an obvious example of how little committed they are to any ideological principles besides owning the libs. Could they at least pretend to stand for something?

Absolutely bleak and hopeless time to be alive. The richest country in the history of the world chose fascism over sharing wealth.

St. Louis DSA and other orgs across the area are standing in solidarity with Minnesotans this Friday. Weโ€™re pressuring Enterprise, a ICE contractor. Use your power to fight back against ICE and support the general strike in MN! Get more info and stay in the loop here: act.stldsa.org/ice-out-stl-...

ICE Kills American Woman in Minneapolis Trump decries โ€œradical left;โ€ homeland security screams โ€œdomestic terrorโ€

ICE's killing of unarmed American citizen Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis today has NSPM-7 written all over it, as well as a related Pam Bondi memo ordering feds to see any interference of ICE agents as a terrorist threat:

Not sure when I first heard "The people of <oil rich country> are dancing in the street thanking the US for getting rid of its leader," but I've heard it enough in my 43 years that I am immediately skeptical of it but apparently many Americans will fall for it every time without a thought.

Statement from Congressman Wesley Bell. Text:

President Trump once again acted the way he often does-recklessly and without regard for the law-using military force in Venezuela without congressional authorization. While Maduro is an illegitimate dictator, the Administration has offered no clear legal basis, no serious explanation of the intelligence, and no plan for what comes next.

I never doubted that our brave service members could carry out this mission. They're the best fighting force in the world.

But when the United States doesn't live up to our ideals, it hands cover to Russia as it wages an illegal war in Ukraine, and to China as it threatens Taiwan. That's why just last month I voted to reassert Congress's constitutional authority. Congress must be briefed immediately on the legal justification, the objectives, and how this avoids another open-ended conflict.

Trump Family & Friends Grift Inc invades Venezuela, kidnaps leader, says they plan on running Venezuela, and this is what Gentleman from AIPAC has to say on the matter.

Complimenting the military on carrying out illegal orders. Smdh

They're never giving up the White House. Congress will allow it.

Trump is trying to force US oil companies to rebuild Venezuelan oil fields that are too expensive to invest in at current crude prices while a full blown energy revolution is happening with cheap solar and electrification growing exponentially.

This is a dying empire shit.

Honestly can't believe the US just literally kidnapped the president of an oil rich country that it's not even at war with. What an insane time to be alive. What stage of imperialism is this?
